2009 Scholarship Winners
Brittany Stone
is a student at Lincoln Park Academy, with duel enrollment at IRSC. She
has been taking voice lessons for 4 years. Brittany is a two time cancer
survivor! Her music is her inspiration. She plans to study and use her
music ability to become a Music Pediatric Therapist!
Vernicia
Carpenter
is currently a student at Lincoln Park Academy. She will be graduating
with Honors and so far has perfect attendance from kindergarten until
present day! Vernicia has been singing with her church choir along with
the choir at LPA for many years and is the President of the choir at
this time. She plans on continuing her education in music and become a
Music Professor at the college level
Michael Herman
is a senior at Vero Beach High School. He has been playing the saxophone
in the Marching and Symphonic bands for 4 years, as well as the VBHS
Jazz Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet and other chamber groups. He plans to
attend the University of Central Florida with double majors in Jazz
Studies and Civil Engineering.
